1. TERMS &
CONDITIONS. Please ensure that you have
read and understand our Terms and Conditions
located in the Conditions
of Use page. All orders placed are
subject to it and by using this Site you agree
to the conditions.
2. FREIGHT &
INSURANCE.
Freight
Charges. Freight charges are calculated
as you add items to your cart. Our standard
freight charges (in AUD including GST) are tier
based depending on cubic size and
weight:
Minimum freight charge is
$15.00
Insurance. Insurance is
optional and will be quoted separately. You can
request for insurance by stating your request
when placing your order in Additional Comment
About Your Order.
* Please note that we
will always confirm your final price inclusive
of freight and/or insurance through
email.
3. DELIVERY
TIMEFRAMES. Delivery timeframes quoted
for delivery of goods are estimated only.
Delivery timeframes vary depending on your
location and goods ordered. Please find below
the estimated time frame after payment
clears:
Victoria Metro: 2 - 3 business
days Victoria Regional: 2 - 4 business
days South Australia: 3 - 5 business
days Tasmania: 3 - 5 business days NSW
Metro: 2 - 4 business days NSW Regional: 2 -
5 business days Queensland Metro: 3 - 5
business days Queensland Regional: 3 - 6
business days WA Metro: 4 - 6 business
days WA Regional: 4 - 7 business
days Northern Territory: Minimum 4 business
days

4. REFUND
POLICY. PCDIY will gladly credit goods
returned within a reasonable time (generally 5
days) provided the goods are in original
condition, current version and not a special
order, hardware, peripheral or clearance item.
In this case, if the return is authorised by
PCDIY a restocking fee of up to 20% may
apply.
Refunds and returns will not be
accepted on the basis of unsuitable items, wrong
choice and incompatibility of any kind. It is
your responsibility to ensure the items you
purchase are compatible with your system(s)
prior to your purchase.
Under no
circumstances are we able to accept software for
return or any opened and used products that may
breach the health and safety regulations such as
headsets, earpieces and headphones, unless the
item is faulty under the warranty terms.
If you have an item, which you believe
is faulty, please ensure you thoroughly test the
item prior to returning. Products that are
returned for faults that are found not faulty
will incur a service charge of AUD$25inc GST +
return postage. The item will be returned to you
once the service charge + return postage is
paid.
5. WARRANTY. All PCDIY
supplied products are covered with a RTB (Return
to Base) warranty for a period of twelve (12)
months, unless stated otherwise by its
respective manufacturers warranty. Goods
returned under warranty will be repaired or
replaced at PCDIYs discretion. Warranty is not
transferable and not applicable on physically
damaged or intentionally modified
products.
Under the RTB (Return to Base)
warranty policy, all delivery charges for
product to be returned to PCDIY will be at the
customers expense.
Items returned to
PCDIY must be properly packed in the condition
acceptable by the vendor. When possible, please
return items in original packaging and ensure
item is safely packed (insufficient safe
packaging will void the
warranty).
Warranty Turnaround
Time. Turnaround time for warranty
returns depend on the processing the warranty
and availability of the replacement product from
manufacturer.
The process of warranty
returns involves the shipping of item to PCDIY,
product testing, submitting a warranty request
to supplier, approval from supplier, delivery to
supplier, supplier testing, delivery back to
PCDIY, testing of replaced/repaired item by
PCDIY and finally delivery back to
you.
Products with Manufacturer Direct
Warranty. PCDIY do not handle warranty
returns for products that have a direct warranty
with the manufacturer. These products include
notebooks, printers, scanners, monitors, and
some networking products.
PCDIY is not an
authorised service center and is required to
send item back to those manufacturer. It is
therefore quicker to deal directly with the
manufacturer. Also note that most manufacturers
offers pick up and delivery service at major
metropolitan
areas.
