PAYMENTS.
Payment terms for all online
transactions are payment before delivery. The
following payment methods are
accepted:
Direct
Deposit.
Direct deposit is available for
all orders. Our bank details will be forwarded
to you upon selecting this option when making a
purchase. Payments can be made over the counter
at the bank, or transferable using online or
telephone banking. When making payment with
Direct Deposit, please quote order number as the
description on the payment.
Payments may
take up to 5 business days to appear in our
account. Goods will be dispatched after payment
clears.
Other Payment
Methods.
We accept Cheques and Money
Orders. Please note that these forms of payment
generally take up to 5 business days for
clearance. Goods will be dispatched after
payment clears.
9. REFUND
POLICY.
PCDIY will gladly credit goods
returned within a reasonable time (generally 5
days) provided the goods are in original
condition, current version and not a special
order, hardware, peripheral or clearance item.
In this case, if the return is authorised by
PCDIY a restocking fee of up to 20% may
apply.
Refunds and returns will not be
accepted on the basis of unsuitable items, wrong
choice and incompatibility of any kind. It is
your responsibility to ensure the items you
purchase are compatible with your system(s)
prior to your purchase.
Under no
circumstances are we able to accept software for
return or any opened and used products that may
breach the health and safety regulations such as
headsets, earpieces and headphones, unless the
item is faulty under the warranty terms.
If you have an item, which you believe
is faulty, please ensure you thoroughly test the
item prior to returning. Products that are
returned for faults that are found not faulty
will incur a service charge of AUD$25inc GST +
return postage. The item will be returned to you
once the service charge + return postage is
paid.
10. CANCELLATIONS.
You
cannot cancel an order once we have delivered
the item(s) and the item(s) is in transit to
you.
For cancellations prior to
delivery, a restocking fee of 10% of total
purchase price is charged. This is to cover for
our time, depreciation of opened goods (for
orders involving computer systems that requires
assembly) and/or any courier cancellations.
11. WARRANTY.
All PCDIYs
supplied products are covered with a RTB (Return
to Base) warranty for a period of twelve (12)
months, unless stated otherwise by its
respective manufacturers warranty. Goods
returned under warranty will be repaired or
replaced at PCDIYs discretion. Warranty is not
transferable and not applicable on physically
damaged or intentionally modified
products.
Under the RTB (Return to Base)
warranty policy, all delivery charges for
product to be returned to PCDIY will borned by
the customer.
Items returned to PCDIY
must be properly packed in the condition
acceptable by the vendor. When possible, please
return items in original packaging and ensure
item is safely packed (insufficient safe
packaging will void the
warranty).
Warranty Turnaround
Time.
Turnaround time for warranty
returns depend on the processing the warranty
and availability of the replacement product from
manufacturer.
The process of warranty
returns involves the shipping of item to PCDIY,
product testing, submitting a warranty request
to supplier, approval from supplier, delivery to
supplier, supplier testing, delivery back to
PCDIY, testing of replaced/repaired item by
PCDIY and finally delivery back to
you.
Products with Manufacturer Direct
Warranty.
PCDIY does not handle warranty
returns for products that have a direct warranty
with the manufacturer. These products include
notebooks, printers, scanners, monitors, and
some networking products.
12. PRODUCT
PRICES & COSTS.
Prices quoted on
website do differ to in-store prices as there is
difference in operational cost involved. Please
check relevant price lists –

Except specifically
expressed, all prices quoted or that have
appeared in our website are inclusive of tax and
are in Australian currency. We reserve the right
at any time between the time of quotation and/or
order and the date of delivery of the goods or
provision of services to make any reasonable
adjustment to prices. All prices in the price
list are subject to change without
notice.
Credit card surcharge will apply
on payments made by credit cards according to
the following rates:

2% .
13. PRODUCT
DELIVERY.
Delivery dates and times quoted
for delivery of goods are estimates only and we
shall not be liable for any loss or damage
arising as a result or consequence of any
failure to deliver or delay in delivery of any
goods or services arising from any circumstances
which are outside PCDIY control. No cancellation
of sales contract is allowed if goods or
services have been delivered by the
courier.
14. PRODUCT
LISTINGS.
PCDIY strives for accuracy in
all item descriptions, photographs,
compatibility references, detailed
specifications, pricing, links and any other
product-related information contained herein or
referenced on this Site. Due to human error or
any other limitations we cannot guarantee that
all item descriptions, photographs,
compatibility references, detailed
specifications, pricing, links and any other
product-related information listed in this Site
is entirely accurate, complete or current, nor
can we assume responsibility for these errors.
In the event a product listed on our website is
labeled with an incorrect price due to some
typographical, informational, technical or other
error, PCDIY shall at its sole discretion have
the right to refuse and/or cancel any order for
said product and immediately amend, correct
and/or remove the inaccurate
information.
